| I have a 2007 Four Winds Hurricane 34b and it has always leaked in the main bedroom slide-out and the living room slide-out. Now it leaks from the front speaker on the passenger side. I have taken it to several repair shops and they all state that they can't find the leak (when there are clear water stains on the carpet). Then they say that if it does leak, it's a maintenance issue. Ridiculous. Has anyone figured out how to repair these "factory installed" leaks? | ||

| i feel 4 u... recently had same thing happen to us. reputable dealer minor water damage was told we check roof appliances etc u will have no issues with this unit roof sealed last yr lol. well roof is rotted thru n several places water lines dont exist...slideout is now completewly gutted as the roof material was not there they took the batteries 1 stabaliser jack no appliance works and the entire electrical system is shorted out. should purchased from ebay instead. got my 1997 lasalle there 10 yrs ago and is still solid this newer one has rotted floors and all and from a reputable dealer. | ||

| 2001 Hurricane windshield gasget issues....slider leaks.....nothing Ive done has fixed the problems for any length of time.....resale value is down the tubes...only 12000 miles | ||

| My rv leaks any opening (windows,doors,screw holes,etc.).The delaminated fiberglass spots are all over the rv.I am now attemping to repair myself.Four winds m.h.appears to NO quality control or supervision during the constuction of thier m.h.I have found many more things to show to be true.I purchased mine as a used m.h. in 2004 with 6000 miles and now have 27000 miles on it. | ||

| Fully retired now and was looking at a 2008 Four Winds. Thanks for this site. I will stay away from this mfg. I do own however a 1991 Ford Cobra Passport, 43,000 miles. Still runs good, no roof leaks, recently developed minor window leak but all in all a good home. I do maintain the unit, I think I will wallpaper and put the new springs on and keep it. I know what I have. | ||

I am so glad to have found this website. I am looking at ( or should i say was ) a 2002 huricane and the guy only wants 13,000 for it and now ai know why. thank you so much Dante |

| I have a hurricane motorhome. They use foam to seal windows that absorbs water rather then spend the 6 dollars to use the butal tape. So every hurricane built has delamination. I know I will never buy another thor or fourwinds product with or anything with an F52 chassis. I am an engineer and I am always fixing things. I always has something to work on. But RVing is great. Take your family to the lake and enjoy it as much as you can. |

| I would never recommend anyone buy an RV! I am on my second one in three years (this one is the replacement because the first was so problematic). The propane tank just came unwelded from the chassis while driving down the road. Only put 1500 miles on it when this happened. Wonder what will happen if I actually tried using it. I have made $20,000 in payments in the last three years and I haven't owned a motorhome home for one single day that it has had no problems. There have been issues from the day I picked it up until they took it back to now.....I just want the nightmare to end! | ||
